The outer shell of the TentBox Cargo 2.0 is constructed with a steel-reinforced honeycomb-aluminium base and roof panels, framed in an aluminium exoskeleton with stainless steel hardware. With steel reinforcement; steel is added to further strengthen the aluminium panels. Steel is much stronger than aluminium but heavier. By reinforcing the honeycomb aluminium with steel, the structure gains additional load-bearing capacity and impact resistance without significantly increasing weight.
