The TentBox Classic 2.0 is a hard shell roof tent designed and manufactured by TentBox. It is a two berth sized roof tent in a box shaped pop-up design. It features automatic opening mechanism with use of its gas struts.
To setup the TentBox Classic 2.0 it takes 60 seconds.
Through the use of advanced gas struts that smoothly lift the tent into position with minimal effort. Simply release the latches, and the tent expands into its full, spacious form, ready to welcome you into its comfortable embrace. The automatic opening mechanism is not only a testament to modern engineering but also ensures that setting up camp is a hassle-free, almost instantaneous process.

The TentBox Classic 2.0 boasts some new improvements in water resistance.
Now with a 3000mm hydrostatic head rating up from 2500mm. As added extras it now has C6 DWR (water-repellency), 2400mm/24hr breathability and UV50+ protection. PVC-backed cordura trim for added durability.
As standard with TentBox the craftmanship means waterproof seams which are silicone taped as well as waterproof zips on all windows.
Now comes with a handy LED light strip when the sun goes down and you need a helpful light source.
For extra comfort the Classic 2.0 comes with a dual-layer 6cm mattress with a waterproof wipeable cover.
Like the original TentBox Classic but new and improved you can keep your bedding inside. Now you include thick pillows when closed.

The TentBox Classic 2.0 is a 2 berth tent.
The main pod material is made of 280gsm rip stop polyester canvas with UV50+ Protection, PVC-backed Cordura trim and C6 Durable Water Repellent treated on the material.
280gsm: This stands for "grams per square meter." It's a measurement of the fabric's weight and density. A higher gsm indicates a thicker, more durable, and heavier fabric. In this case, 280gsm is considered heavy-duty, suitable for outdoor use.
Rip-stop: Rip-stop is a fabric weave technique that involves interweaving thicker threads at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. This design helps to prevent small tears and rips in the fabric from spreading, enhancing the durability of the material.
Polyester: Polyester is a type of synthetic fiber known for its strength, durability, and resistance to stretching and shrinking. It is lightweight, quick-drying, and resistant to mildew.
UV50+ Protection is applied to the polyester canvas material to reduce the sun's UV radiation to pass through.
The canvas is treated with C6 Durable Water Repellent (DWR water-repellency) a chemical treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric to make it water-resistant. It causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric instead of soaking in.
PVC-backed Cordura trim is applied to the material. PVC-backed Cordura trim refers to a specific type of fabric trim that combines the durability of Cordura with the waterproofing and structural benefits of a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) backing.
The outer shell of the TentBox Classic 2.0 is made of Auto-grade - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) shell. It is in matte black color.
