The TentBox Lite 2.0 Awning Bundle contains the soft shell roof tent; The TentBox Lite 2.0 and the Lite 2.0 Tunnel Awning with two optional sets of telescopic poles. The TentBox Lite 2.0 is a two berth sized roof tent in a fold out design.
The addition of telescopic poles allows you to put the Tunnel Awning into wing mode giving you cover whilst giving a place to setup your kitchen area.

With its foldable design the TentBox Lite 2.0 folds out into an impressive space for two adults to sleep comfortably. With an internal mattress size of 130cm x 220cm (Double beds in the UK are typically 135cm x 190cm).
Another benefit of the foldable design is the small form factor when the roof tent is packed away. Folding away into a dimension of 133cm x 110cm x 25cm it's perfect for the majority of cars. So if you drive a large or small vehicle this will work perfectly as long as your dynamic limits allow.
With a waterproof rating of 3000mm for the inner pod and 5000mm for the rainfly the TentBox Lite 2.0 makes sure you'll stay dry during those wet British weather.
All fabric used in the TentBox Lite 2.0 includes UV50+ protection, ensuring that you stay safe and protected from harmful UV rays while camping.
The TentBox Lite 2.0 comes with a removable main rainfly that allows you to activate summer mode. This means you can enjoy the summer without the need to set up the outer rainfly during the dry months!

The main pod material is made of 280gsm rip stop polyester canvas with a PVC-backed cordura trim. Grams per square meter (gsm) is a measurement of the fabric's weight and density. A higher gsm indicates a thicker, more durable, and heavier fabric. In this case, 280gsm is considered heavy-duty, suitable for outdoor use. Rip-stop is a fabric weave technique that involves interweaving thicker threads at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. This design helps to prevent small tears and rips in the fabric from spreading, enhancing the durability of the material. Polyester is a type of synthetic fiber known for its strength, durability, and resistance to stretching and shrinking. UV50+ Protection is applied to the polyester canvas material to reduce the sun's UV radiation to pass through. The canvas is treated with C6 Durable Water Repellent (DWR water-repellency) a chemical treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric to increase water-resistance. It causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric instead of soaking in. PVC-backed Cordura trim refers to a specific type of fabric trim that combines the durability of Cordura with the waterproofing and structural benefits of a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) backing.
The TentBox Lite 2.0 travel cover is made of 600D PVC-backed cordua with a YKK zip attachment.
The TentBox Lite 2.0 fabric pod is rated to 3,000mm Hydrostatic Head Rating. The rainfly fabric is rated to 5,000mm Hydrostatic Head Rating and the travel cover fabric is rated to 6,000mm Hydrostatic Head Rating A 3,000mm Hydrostatic Head Rating indicates the height of a column of water exceeds 3,000mm before it starts to leak. The fabric is treated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR) Treatment. DWR is a chemical treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric to make it water-resistant as it causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric. The Lite 2.0 is equipped with waterproof YKK zips and waterproof, silicone taped seams.

Wing mode on the Lite 2.0 Tunnel Awning allows for the two side panels to be erected to create a large sheltered area. Two additional pairs of the telescopic poles are required to erect the Lite 2.0 Tunnel Awning in wing mode on both sides.

Step 1: Open and assemble the TentBox Lite 2.0. The Lite 2.0 must not be in summer mode without the rainfly. Step 2: Attach the hooks located at the top of the tunnel awning fabric and attach those hooks to the fabric tabls at the top of the TentBox Lite 2.0 door. Step 3: Locate the eyelets in the Tunnel Awning fabric and slide the telescopic pole into the eyelet and the guy rope knot above and pull the guy rope outwards until you are happy with the tension. Step 4: Peg the guy ropes into the floor at roughly a 60 degree angle. Step 5: Peg the side panels with the appropriate tension to complete setup.
